Functie omschrijving

As a Senior Software Developer at Waterland, you will play a key role in developing the company’s core systems. You’ll work on modern, scalable solutions that support Waterland’s investment activities. One of the main projects you’ll contribute to is Pioneer — a sourcing application built entirely from scratch. This tool gathers and combines data from multiple sources to identify promising organizations that Waterland can help grow.

In this position, you are not only technically skilled but also an excellent communicator. You proactively gather requirements from the business, translate them into smart technical solutions, and clearly communicate your ideas to stakeholders. You’ll guide the backend architecture, coach colleagues, and ensure high standards for quality, performance, and security.

Functie eisen

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Software Developer;
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field; 
  • Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud (GCP); 
  • Experience with TypeScript; experience with Go is a plus; 
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

  • A competitive annual salary between €80,000 and €90,000, depending on experience;
